Keshlam's songwriting and poetic efforts

I'm still developing my songwriting skills, so I spend most filksings either as a listener, or performing filk and folk I've picked up from others. But in the past few years some of my own efforts have reached the point where I consider them serious work. This list is roughly in chronological order.

Hesitation: Haiku for a spiritual therianthrope.
Samurai Moggy II: A coda and homage to Gary McGath's song Samurai Moggy, setting his vision of the encounter to Eric Bogle's original tune. Both Gary's song and this one appeared in the Conterpoint '93 convention songbook.
Adieu Sweet Nancy: A "space chanty", based loosely on the traditional fo'c'stl chanty of the same name. Published in the ConCertino '95 songbook. That con also saw the first performance of this song to be accompanied by Darth. (He likes to sing it in D, I don't...)
Stole of the Seal: Also published in the ConCertino '95 songbook. I really didn't intend to write an anti-fur song, but after the very first line the character took over and insisted on telling the story his way.
Circumstantial Evidence, perpetrated at FilKONtario '95 by myself, Ellen Kranzer, and Greg McMullan. Mary Anne McDonald was another co-author (co-conspirator?).

Bounce!: Co-written with Sherman Dorn, in reaction to NASA's amazing "Rube Goldberg On Mars" landing on July 4th, 1997.
Golda's Soliloquy: Riff upon a theme by Aurienne, inspired by April Walters' "Writing As Thinking" study.
