We do not sell collections of love songs; it's not something we specialize in. As a recording studio, we do record a few, whether romantic, suggestive or bawdy. And some of the songs recorded on our record labels are love songs. As the catalogue grows, a list of those songs and the albums they are on will some day be available here.
We get a lot of calls from people who are looking to have a love song custom-written for their relationship or a friend. And although we are not in the business of writing songs, we know quite a few songwriters and so we have been able to connect some of these people with just the right songsmith.
So if you are looking for a custom-written love song, or for that matter any kind of song, drop us a line with a description of what you want, and we'll try to find you the kind of songwriter you are looking for.
We also get a lot calls at 2 AM at our toll-free number, asking for the compact disc of love songs that was advertised on late night television. They saw the ad, but didn't have a pencil and paper handy to write down the toll-free number. So they call toll-free information, and ask for love songs. Then our phone rings.
At the moment, all we can do is patiently explain that they have a wrong number. That's assuming we are awake and answer at all. Neither they nor we are at our best at that hour, but we explain that our business name comes from our founder, J. Spencer Love.
